Key Responsibilities
- Lead the finance function, ensuring robust reporting, controls and governance
- Act as a trusted member of the leadership team, contributing to strategy and business planning
- Provide clear financial insight to support better decision making and drive overall performance
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and planning processes
- Strengthen visibility of business performance, identifying risks and opportunities early
- Manage cash, financial risk and overall financial discipline
- Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to support growth and efficiency
- Build and develop a capable, engaged finance team
- Ensure high quality reporting within a structured group environment
Key Skills preferred
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Experience operating at FD or senior finance leadership level
- Background in engineering, manufacturing or a commercially driven environment
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to influence and challenge
- Experience working within a group or structured reporting environment
- Confident communicator, able to engage and influence at Board level
- Hands on, pragmatic style with a willingness to get close to the business
- Strong leadership capability with experience developing teams
