The Role
- Help to design and build solutions to supply tailored data reports to colleagues, customers and the wider business.
- Help to import and export data for internal and external clients.
- Carrying out tasks to support with the development of the company's in-house APIs and applications to maintain various datasets.
- Check for inaccuracies in data within the company's databases and find solutions to rectify problems promptly and correctly.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on the various databases and servers.
The Requirements
- Experience with using Microsoft SQL Server (2016 or later is preferred).
- A strong understanding of relational databases.
- Good experience with ETL processes and tools.
- Some knowledge of cloud database technologies (Azure ideally).
- Comfortable in carrying out some database maintenance tasks, including scheduling backups, monitoring database performance, monitoring hardware resources.
