Nigel Wright have been appointed to support Neptune North with multiple hires into their Newcastle office.
Neptune North are a Joint Venture between Oliver Wyman and Rokos Capital Management specialising in providing premium technology consulting services.

Key Responsibilities
- Working with business users & the static data team to identify technical challenges and opportunities
- Delivering industry-leading solutions for enterprise data management to the highest design, testing and operational standards which exceed challenging SLAs
- Developing and building a high quality Enterprise Data Management (EDM) implementation
- Challenging current systems, processes and delivery approach to achieve common goals through technical excellence and innovation
- Proactively ensuring system stability, performance and accuracy
Job Requirements
- Excellent SQL skills and experience working with Microsoft SQL server
- Strong programming and technology skills, including an in-depth understanding of and recent programming experience in C# .
- Net or other object orientated languages such as Java or Python
- A strong enthusiasm for programming and technology, and an appetite and ability to work in a dynamic and integrated team
- The ability to own all aspects of development projects from start to finish, from establishing business requirements and design development to testing and release management
- Exceptional attention to detail, organisation and communication skills
- Desire to understand and solve business problems, build domain knowledge and increase market understanding
- A minimum 2.1 degree obtained in Computer Science, or a related field, from a Russell Group University
- Interview Process
- Coding Challenge – We would like to get a better sense of your programming potential. You will be sent some questions hosted by Codility to be completed at a time that suits you.
- Management Interviews – You will meet with members of our Technology Management Team.
These will be a combination of technical questions and an assessment of team and cultural fit.
- Team Technical Interview – You will meet 1-2 other team members for a technical interview.
- Aptitude Test - As a final step you will complete a speed-driven aptitude assessment.
