Job Description

The OpportunityInterim Head of Finance required for a 6-9 month opportunity to work for an award-winning business services firm in Durham. As the organisation continues to grow and strengthen operational processes, they are seeking an experienced Interim Head of Finance to lead the finance function through a key period of transition.The Role

This is a hands on, office based leadership role focused on:

  • Leading and developing the finance team
  • Embedding stronger processes and controls
  • Preparing for the implementation of a new management system
  • Support system implementation and team training
  • Review and document finance procedures (billing, payroll, month-end, etc.)
  • Supporting strategic financial planning and operational improvements
  • Oversee monthly management accounts and cash flow management

The Person

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
  • Proven leadership in finance roles 
  • Strong systems background and process improvement experience
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to deliver improvements in a busy office environment
