The opportunity; We are partnering with a leading manufacturing business to appoint a Head of HR for one of its key sites in Grimsby.

This is a high-impact, site leadership role with full responsibility for people strategy and delivery in a fast-paced, production environment.

Key Responsibilities; As Head of HR, you will sit as a key member of the site leadership team, taking full ownership for the HR function and driving change across all people-related activities.

You will: Lead the end-to-end HR agenda for a manufacturing site Rebuild and embed core HR foundations (process, policy, governance, KPIs) Drive engagement, communication and culture improvement across the site Partner closely with the Site Director and SLT, challenging and influencing where required Lead workforce planning to support seasonal peaks and operational demands Improve key metrics including absence, retention and recruitment effectiveness Develop and lead a small HR team (BP, Advisor, Assistant) Move the function from reactive to proactive and strategic This is site based, hands-on role requiring both operational depth and strategic capability.
