Following sustained growth, both organic and acquisitive, this role has been created to support the CFO, ensuring the Finance department is working effectively and efficiently, providing a best in class function as the business gears up for further expansion. There will be scope to support the business in upcoming acquisitions, onboarding of those acquisitions and taking a lead on critical projects across the group. This is a key appointment for the business and will provide future succession planning for the CFO, * Overseeing the production of monthly and annual accounts;

Pursuing and implementing improvements in processes and controls;

Enhancing financial analysis and internal reporting;

Budgeting, forecasting, providing analysis and guidance to the business

Business partnering with key non-finance stakeholders

Supporting with acquisition targets and providing onboarding strategy

Ensuring reconciliation requirements across the teams are met, including balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations and external stock reconciliations;

Monitoring and managing cash flow;

Liaising with auditors to ensure successful annual audits;

Leading on recruitment, onboarding, and performance management for your teams.

Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)

Previous people management experience
