We’re working with Premier Tech Water and Environment, a growing, internationally backed business that’s looking for an ambitious, hands-on finance professional to take ownership of its UK & Ireland finance operations. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with 4–5 years’ experience who has already been operating with a high level of autonomy and is ready to step into a more senior, visible role. It is an on-site role based out of Mytchett, Surrey.

The Role

As Finance Controller, you’ll play a key role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making. You’ll work closely with the General Manager and leadership team while collaborating with a wider global finance function.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ownership of monthly reporting and business review packs
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
  • Strengthening financial controls and processes
  • Cash management, reconciliations, and financial oversight
  • Supporting payroll and day-to-day finance operations
  • Business partnering with senior stakeholders
  • Supporting integrations and ongoing growth initiatives

About You

  • 4–5 years’ finance experience (practice or industry)
  • Ideally studying or qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA), but not essential
  • Experience working independently or leading processes end-to-end
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to add commercial insight
  • Eager to step up and take on broader responsibility
  • Comfortable in a hands-on, growing environment
