An opportunity to join a global organisation on a 2 year fixed term contract basis in West Yorkshire. This opportunity is ideal for first/second time movers and offers excellent exposure across the whole business. Its a varied role which will see you get involved in the following:
- Preparation/review of monthly accounts
- Producing reconciled monthly and year-end accounts in accordance with agreed timetables
- Central finance tasks/projects e.g. Capex analysis, sustainability etc.
- Provide strong technical accounting input both in terms of IFRS and FRS102
- To assist with quarterly external IFRS reporting forming the basis of the published Brenntag SE consolidated, audited financial statements
- To support and develop (local and group) reporting systems to assist local management, and to streamline and standardise reporting
- Coordinating with auditors (both internal and external)
- Preparation of annual statutory accounts, and assistance with external auditors
- Assisting with integration of acquisitions
