The Company NW Tech is delighted to be partnering with a growing North East based financial services business in their search for a Graduate Data Analyst. NB - the position will be a hybrid working pattern requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.

The Role

  • With strong support from a Senior Data Engineer you will start with broad, hands-on exposure across the company's data and software systems - including testing and validating reports, data and application changes.
  • Support the development and maintenance of reporting and dashboards used across the business.
  • Write and maintain SQL (and with support DAX and Python) for reporting, validation and data extraction.
  • Run data quality checks and reconciliations across key datasets.
  • Support data ingestion and transformation tasks within Microsoft Fabric.
  • Document data definitions, logic and reporting methodology so outputs are consistent.

The Requirements

  • 2:1 or above in a computing, numerate or data discipline.
  • Basic to intermediate SQL.
  • Understanding of structured data and relational databases.
