Broadacres is seeking a Financial Planning Manager who can build upon financial planning processes, elevate business partnering and give leaders the insight and constructive challenge needed to make confident, informed decisions. With responsibility spanning performance reporting, long-term planning, treasury, regulatory returns, rents and service charges, this newly created role offers exceptional breadth and the scope to make a visible organisational impact. Financial Planning Manager Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance, you will lead the Financial Performance team, managing four direct reports and a budget of £0.5 million. You will oversee management accounting, budgeting and forecasting, while helping to move finance beyond reporting performance towards actively shaping it. A central priority will be developing a trusted and commercially minded business partnering service that provides relevant insight, constructive challenge and practical support to leaders across Broadacres. Your remit will also include long-term financial planning, treasury, statutory and regulatory reporting, rent and service charge setting, financial governance and value for money. Key priorities will include: Deliver trusted, timely monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts, supported by incisive variance analysis. Maintain five-year and 30-year financial plans using scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis and stress testing. Build a customer-focused finance business partnering model that strengthens understanding, ownership and accountability. Coordinate regulatory returns, statutory accounts, audit support and taxation compliance. Oversee liquidity, cash-flow forecasting, facility drawdowns, interest payments, lender covenants and treasury reporting. Lead transparent, compliant rent and service charge setting. Build a motivated, high-performing Financial Performance team. About You You will be a credible, fully qualified finance professional with strong management accounting, budgeting and forecasting experience. You will combine technical rigour with the ability to interpret complex information, identify what matters and communicate it clearly to non-finance audiences. You will bring: A strong grounding in management accounting, planning and performance reporting. Experience of business partnering and influencing financial decisions. Excellent analytical, modelling and Excel capability. Experience supporting year-end reporting and external audit. The confidence to provide constructive challenge at all levels. Experience leading, motivating or developing others. A collaborative, visible and improvement-focused leadership style.
