With a strong reputation for excellence and a collaborative culture, we are now seeking a talented and commercially minded Finance Manager to join the team and support our continued growth. Due to the urgent nature of the role, this is initially a contract/temporary to permanent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the monthly management reporting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Preparing and managing budgets and forecasts, working closely with operational and commercial teams.
  • Delivering variance analysis and performance commentary to senior stakeholders.
  • Providing commercial insights to support strategic decision-making and drive profitability.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to understand cost drivers and identify opportunities for efficiency.
  • Supporting year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Driving continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
  • Managing and supporting a small team.

Person Specification

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional who can combine strong technical skills with commercial acumen.

Essential:

  • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA).
  • Proven experience in a finance role within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Strong understanding of management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present insights clearly.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build relationships across the business.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
  • Experience of managing a small team.
