A Finance Manager will be hired for a 6 month opportunity, with potential to lead to a permanent hire. Hybrid working. Reporting to Finance Director and managing 1-2 junior members of staff. This is a varied role and some responsibilities include:

  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Cashflow
  • Product Costing
  • Revenue recognition
  • P&L analysis
  • Oversight of balance sheet
  • Be key point of contact for Auditors
  • Margin analysis and ad hoc analysis

A well established business in the Northeast.

About You:

  • Fully Qualified Accountant is preferred, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent. Candidates who are Qualified by Experience will also be considered, with relevant experience.
  • Experience as Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant will be relevant, people management experience not essential.
  • Manufacturing experience would be nice to have but is not essential.
  • Good analytic skills.
  • Have great communication skills.
  • Experience of ERP's and being proficient on Excel is a must.
