Nigel Wright is excited to be partnering with Ladurée to appoint its Country Manager UK.

Ladurée is one of the world's most iconic luxury pâtisserie and café brands, renowned for its macarons, French pastries, tea rooms and premium gifting. Founded in Paris in 1862, the business operates a network of elegant retail boutiques, cafés and restaurants across major international cities, combining luxury hospitality, artisan food and retail gifting within a distinctive heritage brand.

Today, Ladurée's UK business comprises 12 locations across London and key travel hubs, serving a broad mix of customers including luxury shoppers, international visitors, tourists, gifting customers, corporate clients and loyal local consumers. The business spans retail boutiques, cafés, tea rooms, e-commerce and B2B channels, creating a uniquely diverse operating model that blends hospitality, retail and premium food experiences.

The Opportunity

Having invested in its footprint, infrastructure and leadership capability in recent years, the business is now entering its next phase of evolution. The focus is on building a consistently high-performing organisation, strengthening the brand's presence within the UK market and creating sustainable long-term growth across all channels.

This is a rare opportunity to lead a business that sits at the intersection of luxury retail, hospitality, gifting and e-commerce, with responsibility for the full operational, commercial and people agenda. The successful candidate will shape the future direction of the UK business whilst acting as a custodian of one of the world's most admired luxury food brands.

The Mission

The successful candidate will play a central role in:

  • Strengthening the visibility and relevance of the Ladurée brand within the UK market.
  • Delivering exceptional customer experiences across every location and channel.
  • Identifying new opportunities for growth whilst protecting the integrity of the brand.
  • Building a high-performing, engaged and accountable culture across the UK organisation.
  • Developing future leaders and creating strong internal capability to support continued growth.
  • Enhancing collaboration across retail, hospitality, digital, B2B and support functions to create a unified customer experience.
  • Ensuring the brand's heritage, service standards and customer proposition continue to evolve while remaining true to the values that have defined Ladurée for more than 160 years.

The Person

We are seeking a visible and commercially minded leader who combines operational excellence with an appreciation for premium brands and exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience within, or a strong understanding of, the luxury brand sector.
  • Experience managing a multi-site retail, restaurant or hospitality business.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with a clear focus on profitability and sustainable growth.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to achieving ambitious business objectives.
  • Knowledge of supply chain requirements within a complex operational environment.
  • A track record of leading, developing and inspiring high-performing teams.
  • The ability to balance brand stewardship with disciplined commercial execution.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working across multiple functions.
  • A hands-on leadership style, comfortable operating strategically whilst remaining close to day-to-day operations
  • Intermediate French language skills would be highly desirable

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Country Manager or General Manager to lead the continued development and performance of Ladurée in the UK, while protecting the heritage, quality and standards associated with this prestigious international brand.

If you're inspired by luxury brands, thrive on leading high-performing teams, and have the vision and commercial acumen to drive sustainable growth, we'd love to hear from you.
