Our client is a well-established manufacturing business in the North East, who are looking to appoint an experienced Health, Safety & Environment professional to support and drive HSE compliance and continuous improvement activities across their site operations.
The HSE Advisor will play a key role in helping the business maintain a safe and compliant working environment, while supporting ongoing improvement projects across the operation. Duties will include:
- Supporting site compliance activities
- Carrying out workplace assessments
- Investigating incidents
- Delivering training
- Working with managers to continually improve standards across the business
The role will also involve monitoring performance, maintaining records and helping to drive a positive approach to health, safety and environmental management.
We're looking for candidates with strong HSE experience gained within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment. You will have:
- NEBOSH General Certificate, minimum
- Demonstrable knowledge of health and safety legislation and risk assessment processes, including ISO14001 and 45001
- Experience carrying out audits, inspections and incident investigations
- Able to communicate confidently across all levels of the business
- A proactive approach and genuine passion for Health, Safety and Environmental improvement
