Finance Manager in Cleveland, Redcar

The Job A Finance Manager will be hired for a 12 month contract. Potential to lead to permanent. Flexible working. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a broad and hands-on role covering transactional accounting, management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and supporting statutory and fiscal reporting. Key Responsibilities Oversee general ledger and accounts payable processes Monitor cash flow and review bank accounts Prepare VAT returns and payroll postings Month-end close, journal postings, and balance sheet reconciliations Produce management accounts, forecasts, and variance analysis Assist with annual budgets, statutory accounts, and tax computations Support grant reporting and long-term financial modelling Business Partnering with Operations The business An exciting early start up organisation About You You will likely be CCAB Qualified, ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent. Candidates who are Qualified by Experience will be considered with relevant experience Have 2-3 years experience in an all rounded accountancy role Be curious and inquisitive Have ability to interpret and explain complex financial information to non finance stakeholders Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to build relationships with both finance and non finance stakeholders, at all levels
