The company has recently completed a major upgrade to Business Central and continues to invest in modernising processes, data flows and technical capability across the business. This position offers flexible working, requiring only occasional visits to the head office for key meetings or collaboration sessions.
Role
You will be a key technical contributor within the organisation’s Business Central environment, enhancing, maintaining and supporting core financial and operational functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, configure and maintain Business Central solutions using AL and associated tools.
- Work closely with finance and operational stakeholders to improve processes and implement system enhancements.
- Support integrations between Business Central and other internal/third-party systems.
- Provide technical guidance to other developers and contribute to upskilling within the team.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across processes, data handling and system usage.
- Assist with estimating, planning and maintaining good development practice and governance.

- Strong, proven experience as a Microsoft Business Central Developer, including hands-on AL development.
- Solid understanding of financial modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, banking, inventory or fixed assets.
- Experience working closely with finance stakeholders and supporting ERP-driven business processes.
- Ability to coach and mentor other technical team members.
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Agile delivery, DevOps practices, or modern development tooling.
- Knowledge of related technologies such as .NET, SQL, PowerApps, Power Automate, or Power BI.
