The Company Nigel Wright Tech are delighted to be working with an established software company in their search for a SQL Developer.

The Role

In this role you will undertake a variety of tasks, including data loading and ETL, working with complex data structures, writing queries/stored procedures, optimising queries and tables, producing reports and creating workflows. Other responsibilities include:

  • Standard SQL tasks such as table design, query creation, etc.
  • Ensuring the accuracy, integrity and security of data.
  • Creating ETL workflows to process large datasets, in a variety of formats.
  • Troubleshooting database performance issues using tools such as Redgate SQL Monitor, SSMS query store.
  • Designing and delivering reports on big datasets.

The Requirements

Key Requirements include:

  • Experience of designing and implementing solutions which involve big datasets.
  • Strong SQL/T-SQL experience.
  • Ability to analyse and understand complex data structures.
  • Experience in writing and troubleshooting complex queries, stored procedures, functions, etc.
  • Experience with ETL.
  • Cloud database technologies or Python skills would be beneficial.
