The Role
- Producing monthly management accounts and supporting month-end processes
- Preparing journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
- Delivering accurate financial and operational reporting
- Monitoring cash-related activities and payment processes
- Providing financial insight and challenge to non-finance stakeholders
- Attending management and review meetings to support commercial decision-making
- Contributing to continuous improvement across finance processes and reporting
Background
You will ideally be professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), although experienced part-qualified candidates will also be considered.
- Strong management and financial accounting experience
- Experience of month-end close, budgeting and forecasting
- Excellent Excel and systems skills
- Confidence in partnering with senior stakeholders
- A proactive, analytical and commercially aware approach
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team
