An excellent opportunity to join a fantastic organisation on a 12-month FTC basis as a Revenue Analyst. This role is based in Newcastle where you will be expected to be onsite 3-4 days per week.
The Role
- Deliver incremental revenue to the organisation through analysing, maintaining, refreshing, and enhancing key revenue data and reports using SQL, Excel and PowerBI.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to track and size impacts of step changes we are making to how we sell to our customers.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and deep dives into specific trading issues and opportunities working with both senior management and trading team, for example:
- Measuring impact of price and strategy changes
- Analysing impact of key dates throughout the year
- Analyses performance at granular level to inform fleet and pricing decisions
- Analyses key revenue period performance
The Person
- Numerical degree; OR previous analytical experience demonstrating ability to perform analysis and work with data.
- Analytical skills:
- Experience of working with SQL to extract, manipulate and analyse data
- Experience in using MS Excel to visualise, pivot, and report on data
- Previous experience of using PBI is desirable but not essential
- Demonstrate understanding of what factors affect the price of our products / drive demand
- Past experience / evidence of applying analytical techniques in a commercial environment to improve performance highly desirable but not essential
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to communicate analysis / key insights clearly to a non-technical audience
- Ability to manage time efficiently; coordinating with others across the revenue team
