The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced finance leader to join a growing and evolving organisation at a particularly important stage in its development. Ideally this is a full time role, however the organisation can be flexible within reason for adjusted working patterns and offer a flexi-time system too.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive and forming part of the Senior Leadership Team, this role offers the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making, drive organisational improvement and lead a finance function with genuine scope for development.
This is a broad and highly visible position, combining strategic finance, business partnering, governance and operational leadership. You'll play a key role in supporting senior stakeholders, improving financial insight and helping to shape the organisation's future direction.

The Role
As Head of Finance, you will act as the organisation's most senior finance professional, providing leadership, guidance and commercial insight across the business.
Working closely with the Chief Executive, leadership team and key stakeholders, you will:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning activities
- Deliver insightful management information to support strategic decision-making
- Provide proactive financial challenge and business partnering across the organisation
- Oversee financial controls, governance, compliance and statutory reporting
- Manage cashflow, treasury and financial sustainability planning
- Lead and develop the Finance team
- Drive improvements across finance systems, reporting and processes
- Support significant organisational and business transformation initiatives
- Build strong relationships with external advisers, auditors and stakeholders
About You
We're keen to speak with experienced finance professionals who have operated in a strategtic capacity and enjoy working closely with decision-makers.
You will bring:
- Proven experience in a senior financial management role
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial planning expertise
- Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills
- Exposure to financial governance, controls, audit and statutory reporting
- A flair for improving processes, systems and financial reporting
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach
- Confidence influencing senior leaders and supporting business growth
- Strong Excel and financial systems capability
