The Company

Our client is an established manufacturing business operating through a combination of internal production sites and third-party manufacturing partners across the UK and internationally.

The business is looking to strengthen its senior leadership team with the appointment of an experienced Supply Chain Manager who can bring together production planning, materials management, systems ownership and operational delivery.

The Role

  • Lead the end-to-end supply chain function across internal manufacturing sites and third-party production partners, ensuring material availability, production continuity and customer service excellence.
  • Own the master production schedule, translating demand forecasts into effective production, inventory and materials plans.
  • Take responsibility for the SIOP/S&OP process, providing data-driven insight to support operational and financial decision-making.
  • Drive planning accuracy, system optimisation and reporting capability.
  • Develop and lead the Supply Chain and Order Management team while driving continuous improvement across planning, inventory and supply chain processes

The Person

  • Proven supply chain leadership experience within a manufacturing environment, with strong expertise in production planning, scheduling and materials management.
  • Strong analytical capability, able to build reports, interpret data and make informed operational decisions.
  • Experience managing supplier and third-party manufacturing relationships, ideally across international supply chains.
  • A proactive and practical leader who is equally comfortable operating at senior leadership level and working within the day-to-day detail of the operation.
