Our Client:

Nigel Wright is supporting a well-established manufacturing business in North Yorkshire with the appointment of an HSE Coordinator.

This is a great opportunity to join an experienced HSE team where there is genuine scope to learn and develop. The business is open to considering both early-career HSE professionals and experienced manufacturing candidates looking to make their first move into a dedicated HSE role.

The Role:
Working closely with the HSE Manager and wider operational teams, you’ll provide day-to-day support across health, safety and environmental activities.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting risk assessments, COSHH and incident investigations
  • Maintaining HSE systems, records and compliance documentation
  • Supporting statutory inspections, audits and corrective actions

About You:
We’re keen to speak with people from a range of manufacturing or industrial backgrounds, particularly fast-paced/FMCG environments.

You may already be working within Health & Safety, Environmental, Quality or Compliance, or you could have broader manufacturing experience and be looking to develop your career specifically within HSE.

Ideally, you will:

  • Hold, or be working towards, a NEBOSH/IOSH qualification
  • Have practical experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Be comfortable working with people at all levels in an operational setting
  • Be organised and confident managing documentation and actions
  • Have a genuine interest in developing your career across HSE
