The Role
You'll lead a well-established fleet operation supported by a dedicated Fleet Assistant, taking responsibility for the full vehicle lifecycle, supplier management, compliance, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
Day to day duties include
- Manage a fleet across multiple group businesses.
- Ensure all vehicles remain compliant, roadworthy, insured and managed in accordance with legislation and company policies.
- Lead vehicle procurement, leasing, supplier management and contract performance reviews.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance, repairs, utilisation and replacement programmes.
- Maintain fleet compliance records including MOTs, road tax, driver checks and risk assessments.
- Support audit activity and maintain compliance standards including FORS accreditation.
- Manage telematics, fuel cards, vehicle usage monitoring and associated reporting.
- Investigate incidents, collisions and vehicle-related compliance issues.
- Produce management information, KPI reports, trend analysis and environmental reporting.
- Review and improve policies, procedures and fleet management processes.

- Experience managing vehicle fleets, vehicle assets or transport-related operations.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.

- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of a business.
- A proactive and solutions focused approach.
