Key responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring production and transport plans align with customer delivery requirements.
- Improving inventory accuracy, stock-location discipline, FIFO, traceability and cycle counting.
- Overseeing warehouse activities relating to finished goods and material movements.
- Improving route planning, vehicle utilisation and overall logistics efficiency.
- Leading and developing planning, warehouse and logistics teams.
- Driving effective use of SAP or other ERP/MRP systems.
- Establishing clear performance measures across service, inventory, planning, waste and transport.
- Delivering continuous improvement while maintaining quality, safety and compliance standards.
The Person:
The successful candidate will have proven leadership experience across materials planning, production planning, logistics, inventory or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
You will bring:
- A strong practical understanding of MRP and experience working within an ERP-led planning environment.
- Experience connecting customer demand with raw-material requirements, production planning and outbound logistics.
- Strong inventory-management and stock-control experience.
- Previous responsibility for leading and developing planning, warehouse or logistics teams.
- The ability to interpret operational data, identify priorities and drive improvement.
- A confident communication style, with the ability to challenge constructively and influence across functions.
