A rare opportunity has arisen for a seasoned, commercially focused Financial Planner to join a prominent, national wealth management and financial planning group at Partner level, based in their London office. This is a senior appointment, suited to someone well versed in advising HNW and UHNW clients who is ready for the next step in their career.
Unlike many competitors, where the investment or private banking function tends to lead the client relationship, Financial Planners here own and lead their own client relationships, backed by one of the largest financial planning teams in the country. It's a model that gives you far greater control over your own destiny and the shape of your own book, rather than sitting in a purely supporting capacity. You will also bring strong business development skills, whether that's built through close collaboration with Investment Managers internally, external professional introducers, or a combination of both. As the business continues to evolve and grow, there is real opportunity to develop new avenues and channels for bringing in business over time, making this a very exciting moment to join.
Requirements
- A seasoned, experienced Financial Planner with a strong track record advising HNW and UHNW clients
- Commercially focused, with strong business development skills and the ability to build relationships both internally with Investment Managers and externally with professional contacts
- Comfortable operating at a senior, Partner level within a large, established business
- A specific client niche or vertical market expertise would be advantageous, though this is not a prerequisite
Why join?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded, large-scale wealth management business in a senior capacity, offering one of the largest and most established financial planning teams in the country and a relationship-led model that puts you firmly in control of your own success. It's a time of real growth and evolution for the firm, with further opportunities to grow business through various channels as the business continues to develop. An attractive six figure basic is on offer, plus a highly attractive bonus structure, which for an established Partner could reach in excess of 50% of basic salary, based on both existing client revenue and new business generated. Hybrid working is in place as they recognise a balance is important.
What next?
If you are an experienced, proactive and professional Financial Planner in the industry who is open to a new opportunity, this could be the role and the business for you. Please get in touch or apply for further details, in confidence.
Please note - this is not a role suited to applicants within Financial Planning & Analysis. You must be a qualified Financial Planning Practitioner to be considered.
