Nigel James Associates have been retained by a regional financial planning practice to secure a new Head of Financial Planning as part of their restructure and continued expansion. The role will be reporting directly into the CEO and you will be part of the Senior Leadership Team. You will have line management of the Financial Planners and day to day operational management responsibilities. You would have strategic involvement and there is an emphasis on growth with ambitious goals being set. The T&C team would work alongside you to help manage the Financial Planners effectively and ensure great client service and outcomes.
Requirements
- To be considered for this role you will need to be an experienced financial/wealth planning leader.
- You would have had exposure to managing large teams and having strategic input/responsibilities at a senior leadership level.
- You will have the gravitas to gain the respect of established Financial Planners and be able to mentor at this level as well as more junior Financial Planners still developing their careers/skillset.
- You will have the ability to build business and experience of establishing professional relationships and other business channels to ensure your Advisers achieve their targets.
- This company has set out to double in size over the next 5 years and requires somebody that has a commercial mindset and the ability to help develop the strategy to achieve and execute.
- You will have industry specific qualifications (min Level 4/DipFS qualified) and thorough knowledge of the financial planning process.
This is a senior opportunity to lead a highly successful financial planning team/business through this exciting time of growth. It is a role with an abundance of scope to make it your own, working as part of a highly collegiate leadership team/company. There is an attractive £six figure basic on offer plus bonuses based on performance and corporate benefits included.
