This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and detail-driven professional to step into a client-facing support role at the heart of a growing discretionary wealth management business. Our client is an established and expanding firm with a strong private client offering, and they are looking for a capable Account Manager to join their London team.
If you have a solid grounding in wealth management administration, whether as a Private Client Administrator, Wealth Manager Assistant, or Junior Paraplanner, and you thrive in a fast-paced, high-standards environment, this could be a genuinely exciting next step.
The role:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for account management and administrative matters across the private client team
- Prepare bespoke investment proposals for prospective and existing clients
- Assist with the preparation of investment order books and bulk trade execution for model portfolios
- Handle a variety of client queries under the supervision of senior relationship managers
- Carry out daily portfolio administration, including monitoring cash balances, responding to corporate actions, and rebalancing portfolios to agreed mandates
- Prepare and review monthly marketing documents distributed to clients
- Maintain the high-risk asset approval list and support compliance and performance reporting
- Assist relationship managers with ad-hoc projects as required
What we’re looking for:
- At least 3 years' experience in an administrative role within a wealth management environment
- Junior Paraplanner experience is a distinct advantage
- Strong working knowledge of AML, KYC, and due diligence requirements
- Impeccable attention to detail and excellent time management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in report writing desirable
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritising effectively to meet deadlines
- Relevant industry qualifications preferred but not essential
