This is an excellent opportunity for a Financial Planner or experienced Paraplanner to join a highly respected wealth management business in Leeds, supporting a broad range of private clients whilst delivering holistic financial planning advice and ongoing relationship management.

You will be responsible for building and developing trusted relationships with an existing client base, ensuring clients receive tailored financial planning advice aligned to their objectives and circumstances. This is a desk-based advice role, offering the opportunity to focus on delivering high-quality advice and service without the pressure of business development targets. Clients will be provided to you from day one, with additional clients introduced each year to help you continue growing and developing within the business.

The role:

  • Build and develop trusted relationships with existing private clients
  • Deliver holistic financial planning and wealth management advice tailored to individual client needs
  • Manage and maintain ongoing client relationships through high-quality service and regular reviews
  • Lead professional client meetings, ensuring all advice is technically accurate, compliant, and suitable
  • Support clients with areas such as retirement planning, inheritance planning, investments, and tax efficiency
  • Conduct annual client reviews aligned to changing client objectives and risk profiles
  • Work collaboratively with Investment Management and Professional Services teams to support client relationships
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure all documentation is up to date and compliant
  • Operate within regulatory and risk management frameworks whilst maintaining excellent client outcomes
  • Continue developing technical knowledge and professional capability through ongoing CPD
  • Work within a desk-based advice environment with full support and no expectation to self-generate business

What we’re looking for:

  • A passionate Financial Planner with proven experience managing private client relationships
  • Strong understanding of holistic financial planning solutions and advice processes
  • Ability to analyse client information and provide suitable recommendations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong client service ethic
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage priorities independently
  • Experience operating within a regulated financial services environment
  • Level 4 Diploma qualified as a minimum, with aspirations towards Chartered status advantageous
  • Maintains an up-to-date Statement of Professional Standing (SPS)
  • Someone motivated by long-term development and progression within a high-quality advice business
