We are working with a leading National Wealth Manager, who are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their Bristol-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected and growing organisation where you’ll support a senior Financial Planner in delivering high-quality, client-focused financial planning solutions, within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
With a hybrid working model (minimum 1 day in the office, 4 days from home), this role offers both flexibility and strong career development opportunities.
What you'll be doing:
- Write detailed suitability reports across a wide range of financial products and advice areas
- Conduct technical research to support client recommendations
- Maintain accurate and compliant client records (KYC)
- Work closely with Financial Planners to deliver the right client outcomes
- Attend client meetings and support with cashflow modelling where required
- Manage your workload to meet deadlines and targets
- Ensure all work aligns with FCA regulations and internal compliance standards
What we're looking for:
- Proven paraplanning experience within an IFA or wealth management firm.
- Strong technical knowledge across financial planning products and complex cases
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) – essential
- Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive approach with a desire to progress towards Chartered status
- Experience with Voyant Cashflow modelling
