We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) Developer to design, build, and enhance CE solutions across Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and Case Management. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys creating scalable customisations, building integrations, and working closely with functional teams to deliver high-quality CRM solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customise Dynamics 365 CE using C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, plugins, custom workflows, and Power Platform components
- Build and maintain integrations between CE and external systems using RESTful APIs, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and other integration tools
- Configure and extend CE modules including Leads, Opportunities, Cases, Accounts, Contacts, and Marketing Journeys
- Translate functional requirements into robust technical designs and solution architectures
- Create technical documentation, including design specs, deployment guides, and integration mappings
- Support data migration activities, including ETL processes, data validation, and transformation
- Troubleshoot CE issues, optimise performance, and ensure code quality through best practices and code reviews
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and collaborative solution-design sessions
- Ensure all CE solutions align with Microsoft best practices and the client's technical standards
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Dynamics 365 CE Developer
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, and the Dynamics 365 SDK
- Handsâon experience with plugins, custom workflows, Power Automate, Power Apps, and solution packaging
- Solid understanding of Dynamics 365 CE architecture, security roles, entity customisation, and form scripting
- Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, or similar cloud integration technologies
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration patterns
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and source control (Azure DevOps, Git)
- Excellent problemâsolving skills and the ability to collaborate with crossâfunctional teams
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
