We are seeking a Data Architect to support the design and delivery of enterprise scale data solutions within the Investment Management and Wealth sector. This is a high impact role within a fast paced consulting environment, focused on helping organisations modernise their data platforms, optimise investment data flows and unlock value through advanced analytics. This role sits at the heart of major transformation programmes, shaping data strategies and architectural frameworks. You will work across complex ecosystems, helping clients improve data quality, governance, and accessibility while enabling scalable, future proof data capabilities. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Data Architect with strong domain expertise in investment data, who is confident leading engagements, managing teams, and influencing senior stakeholders. You will play a key role in defining data architecture best practices, designing target state architectures and delivering tangible business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of data architecture across large scale transformation programmes
- Define and implement data strategies, identifying inefficiencies and driving improvements in investment data ecosystems
- Design enterprise data models
- Facilitate workshops to gather requirements and align stakeholders requirements
- Develop business cases, identifying cost optimisation and value creation opportunities
- Present recommendations and architectural designs to senior stakeholders, including C suite
- Support pre sales activities including RFI/RFP responses and proposal development
Skills and Experience
- Strong background in data architecture within consulting or complex enterprise environments
- Deep understanding of data architecture principles, including data modelling, governance, quality, MDM and analytics
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise data solutions and architecture patterns
- Strong expertise in developing data models (conceptual, logical and physical)
- Experience working with investment or wealth management data domains
- Experience running data design workshops and translating business requirements into technical solutions
