The Technical Architect is responsible for defining, designing, and governing the technical architecture for new solutions and enhancements within a Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. This role involves interpreting complex business and technical requirements and translating them into clear, scalable, and robust architectural designs aligned with organisational standards. The Technical Architect will ensure that all solutions meet both business objectives and technical governance requirements. Working collaboratively across Digital Services, the role engages with stakeholders at all levels as well as external implementation partners to ensure the successful delivery of integrated and sustainable technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse business and technical requirements, aligning them with the organisation's enterprise architecture to define appropriate solution approaches.
- Design end-to-end solution architectures, breaking down complex initiatives into structured, deliverable components.
- Produce high-quality architectural artefacts, including diagrams, technical documentation, and design specifications.
- Assess and clearly communicate technical risks, constraints, and trade-offs to stakeholders.
- Develop functional designs and prototype-level representations using appropriate modelling tools and techniques.
