An established organisation is looking to appoint a Lead Software Developer to help modernise and utilise the broader team across newer technologies. This is a key role within the development function, combining handsâon technical delivery with team leadership. You'll act as a technical expert, guiding developers, shaping best practice, and introducing new technologies to ensure the team continues to evolve and deliver highâquality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the IT Development Manager in leading and mentoring a development team, including oversight of dayâtoâday activities and resource allocation.
- Design, develop, and deliver enterpriseâlevel software solutions aligned to business goals.
- Provide technical leadership across development practices, including code quality, architecture, and tooling.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and business teams to ensure successful project delivery.
