Role
You'll be instrumental in delivering and supporting data solutions within Azure, working across pipeline development, cloud migration, and reporting readiness.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining data pipelines using Azure Data Factory
- Supporting BAU data engineering activities and resolving issues
- Playing a key role in the migration of SQL Server environments to Azure
- Preparing, transforming, and structuring data for analytics and reporting
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data quality, accessibility, and performance
- Occasionally designing and developing Power BI reports
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands‑on experience across the Azure data ecosystem
- Proven expertise with:
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- SQL (T‑SQL, optimisation, data modelling)
- Python for data engineering tasks
Desirable:
- Experience in environments combining project work and BAU support
- Knowledge of modern Azure data architectures (e.g. lakehouse)
- Awareness of data governance and best practices

This is a contract role for UK residents only. This role does not offer sponsorship. You must have the right to work in the UK with no restrictions. Some of our roles may be subject to successful background checks including a DBS and Credit Check.
