Overview
As a Power Platform Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of cutting-edge solutions using the full Microsoft Power Platform suite. Leveraging a strong blend of technical proficiency and functional understanding, you’ll help clients realise the value of low-code technologies while ensuring alignment with broader digital strategies and governance best practices. Whether embedded within larger project teams or leading smaller engagements independently, you will be hands-on in designing, building, and delivering robust, scalable, and secure business applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into innovative Power Platform solutions.
- Design and develop high-quality applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven), Power Automate, and Dataverse.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance around solution architecture, best practices, and governance within the Power Platform ecosystem.
- Collaborate within agile delivery teams, applying DevOps practices and modern development methodologies.
- Contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative delivery using tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Encourage adoption of the Power Platform across client environments and advise on how to empower citizen developers safely and effectively.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about creating value through technology and are comfortable working across both technical and business domains. You should bring:
- Strong hands-on experience developing end-to-end solutions with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
- Working knowledge of the wider Microsoft technology stack, particularly Azure and Dynamics 365.
- Experience implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines, ideally with Azure DevOps.
- A deep understanding of Power Platform governance and Centre of Excellence (CoE) strategies.
- Familiarity with agile ways of working and delivering value incrementally.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Eligibility for SC Clearance (you must have lived in the UK for a minimum of 5 years and not spent significant time abroad in that period).
