An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a talented Data Engineer within a high-end retailer as they look to grow out their BI & Data team. This role will be primarily working across the Azure technology stack as the business looks to undergo a huge digital transformation with a large upcoming Synapse implementation project.
You will be part of a team delivering a high quality of service to top tier clients across the world, working alongside Azure experts as well as helping up-skill junior members of the team. This is the ideal role for someone who is looking for a fast-paced environment, where you can come in and have real influence over your work.
The business prides itself on being a 'people first' employer - enabling you to become part of a highly collaborative, close-knit team as you continue to develop your technical and non-technical skills. This role is based in the London office, with the opportunity to work up to 3 days from home - depending on your preference.
Skill-Set
We're looking to speak with talented Data Engineers who have the following experience:
- Commercial Azure Data Factory experience
- Strong Data Warehousing / ETL skills
- Previous Developer or Data Engineering experience
- Strong background in SQL
Although it's not essential to the role, it would be great if you've had any level of exposure or interest in the following technologies:
- Azure Data Lakes
- Azure Synapse
- Logic Apps
- Power BI
Salary & Benefits
This role offers up to 65,000 base salary (DOE), an annual bonus scheme of 10%, employer pension contributions of 7% (employee 3% minimum contribution), life assurance (4 x Salary), employee discount on products, and 24 days holiday + bank holidays + discretionary additional 3 days between Christmas and New Year + 1 personal day per year.
