Nigel Frank is working on behalf of a leading organisation to recruit a Power Platform Developer to join their in-house IT team. This is a hybrid role, based in Newcastle, with flexibility to work remotely for the majority of the week.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will support the design, development, and delivery of automation solutions across the business. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in Microsoft Power Platform, workflow automation, and application development to expand their responsibilities and work on a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and enhance solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
- Develop automated workflows and orchestrations to streamline business processes.
- Support API-based integrations and connector solutions between internal systems.
- Conduct unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure solutions meet functional requirements.
- Assist in gathering requirements and translating them into technical tasks or user stories.
- Support solution documentation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Contribute to governance activities and follow established development standards.
- Participate in workshops, demos, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Work on low-code solutions, workflow orchestrations, and AI/agent-based automation (Copilot/OpenAI).
Required Experience
- Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, or related low-code platforms.
- Experience with Dataverse, SQL, APIs, cloud technologies, or workflow orchestration tools.
- Some experience with AI/agent-based tools, such as Copilot/OpenAI, is desirable.
- Experience working in Agile (Scrum/DevOps) environments.
- Familiarity with ALM, CI/CD, or governance practices is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
