Infrastructure Cloud Engineer - London (Hybrid) - £65K + Bonus

We are working with an organisation that is looking for a hands-on Infrastructure Cloud Engineer to take ownership of its Microsoft Azure environment. This is a key engineering position within the Technology Infrastructure team, with responsibility for maintaining, securing and continuously improving the organisation's Azure estate.

Reporting into the Modern Workplace Architect, you'll be the primary technical engineer responsible for the Azure infrastructure environment. This is a role for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, solving complex infrastructure issues and taking genuine ownership of a cloud platform.
/n
/n
This is not an architecture or management position. You'll be highly hands-on, working across Azure IaaS, networking, identity, Microsoft 365 and Windows Server, while also supporting wider cloud projects, migrations and infrastructure improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
/n
/n
- Own and manage the organisation's Azure infrastructure estate, including IaaS, VMs, storage, networking, backups and lifecycle management.
/n
- Support cloud security, governance and identity, including Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 administration.
/n
- Act as a key escalation point for infrastructure issues, using PowerShell to automate, troubleshoot and improve the environment.

- Support cloud migrations, infrastructure projects and continuous improvement, working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Skills & Experience:
/n
/n
- Strong hands-on experience across Azure Infrastructure / IaaS, including VMs, storage, networking and backup.
/n
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Windows Server and PowerShell.
/n
- Good understanding of cloud security, governance, IAM and Disaster Recovery.
/n
- Infrastructure/cloud experience, with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to take ownership of an Azure estate.
