About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Developer to join our growing technology team in Leicester. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week on-site and offers a fantastic opportunity to work on end-to-end D365 implementations and integrations in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy customisations and integrations in Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver robust technical solutions.
- Develop extensions and modifications using X++ and other D365 development tools.
- Implement data migration strategies and build data entities as required.
- Maintain and enhance existing D365 F&O custom solutions.
- Assist in troubleshooting system issues and performance tuning.
- Participate in code reviews, solution architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay current on Microsoft updates, best practices, and emerging trends in D365.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Dynamics 365 F&O Developer, with a strong focus on X++ development.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O architecture, customisation, and integration patterns.
- Experience with Visual Studio, Life-cycle Services (LCS), and Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with Finance and Supply Chain Management modules.
- Solid understanding of data structures and data modelling within D365.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration with external systems is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a hybrid working model.
Desirable:
- Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations or related areas.
- Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI).
- Previous involvement in full life-cycle D365 F&O implementations.
