ERP / Dynamics Support Consultant

Up to £35k + Benefits | Lincoln Based |

My client, a well-established end user based in Lincoln, is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Dynamics Support Consultant to join their internal IT team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong Dynamics 365 Business Central or general ERP knowledge to provide hands-on support and contribute to the continued improvement of core business systems.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support for internal users across Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Manage and resolve incoming support tickets related to system functionality and user queries
  • Work closely with departments including finance, sales and operations to troubleshoot and resolve ERP issues
  • Support configuration tasks, data maintenance and basic system changes
  • Liaise with external support partners and vendors for escalated technical issues or customisations
  • Maintain documentation on recurring issues, fixes and user guides
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new users on ERP processes and best practices
  • Support testing and rollout of new features, updates and integrations

Knowledge & Skills

  • Experience supporting ERP systems such as Dynamics NAV, Business Central
  • Good understanding of finance or operations workflows
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward learning and improvement
  • Experience working in an end-user environment is preferred
