About the role / company
The company are a leading chartered surveying and consultancy firm who are growing their Data & Development team. They are looking for a Automation Engineer with all round skills in the Power Platform to play a key part in supporting / advancing their internal AI initiatives, including solutions built with Copilot Studio and other emerging AI technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain business process automation solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps and Power Pages.
- Translate business requirements into scalable automation solutions with quality data designs and efficiently maintained.
- Support the development and deployment of AI-powered tools and experiences using Copilot Studio, Azure AI Services, and other relevant platforms.
- Assist in the integration of AI models and services into business workflows.
- Monitor and optimise existing automation solutions for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Provide technical documentation and user training as needed.
- Stay current with Microsoft Power Platform updates and AI advancements to continuously improve internal capabilities.
Experience / Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Pages).
- 2–4 years of experience in automation engineering or a similar role.
- Familiarity with Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, or similar AI development tools.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, data connectors, and integration techniques.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 ecosystem and Dataverse.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
