Active requirement for an enthusiastic finance/accounting professional seeking a fresh opportunity to build and grow on prior experience within a fast-paced team environment. My client is an international manufacturing and distribution firm with a multi-million pound turnover, YOY growth, and exciting plans for continued expansion.
This permanent role offers the chance to get hands-on in my client's day-to-day finance operation; working closely in a team on the end-to-end finance lifecycle, as well as working on interesting projects to enhance their business-critical finance system, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The role is primarily office-based within a short commute of Kingston Upon Hull.
Role & Responsibilities- End to end monthly & yearly financial process - analysis, reporting, audits, reconciliation
- AP/AR, VAT returns, supporting month end process, reconciliations, variance control and reporting, management pack development
- D365 Business Central system & process improvement projects - analysing requirements, mapping processes, testing new functionality
- Demonstrable experience in a junior/mid-level accounting role, with a firm understanding of UK accountancy practice
- Expertise in using/improving finance systems & processes - preferably Microsoft Dynamics
- Part/Fully qualified finance/accountancy background (e.g. AAT, CIMA, ACCA, Degree in Finance/Accounting)
- Confident communication/stakeholder engagement/interpersonal skills - ability to analyse/introduce new ideas
- Proactive and autonomous with tasks, with great attention to detail
