Purpose and Function of Post

  • Assist with the management of daily operations for Dark Sky Park and Observatory to ensure all service areas meet the standards required to create and maintain a world‑class visitor attraction.
  • Supervise staff to ensure the smooth operation of Dark Sky Park and Observatory.
  • Work co-operatively to build and develop relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, locally, nationally and internationally to ensure the long‑term sustainability of the Dark Sky Park and Observatory.

Hours: Part time - 15 hours per week as per attached rota to include evenings, weekends and public holidays to meet the needs of the services. Hours of work are subject to change.
