To work as a team member in Recycling Centres and liaise with customers and contractors. To ensure the safe and proper disposal of waste by site users for recycling or processing.

The Council may retain a list of reserve candidates arising from this recruitment campaign, for any vacancies which may arise which are the same or similar and are of an equal grade of pay. This list will be valid for 12 months.

This post may be subject to a satisfactory Basic Access NI Check. Applicants will be required to obtain a Telescopic Handler qualification / licence / certificate and undertake training on the operation of the Council’s telehandlers and achieve competence in operating this type of vehicle for loading waste within 6 months of commencement.
