Ballyoan House is a supported living accommodation giving care and support for 16 adults with mental health issues. Ballyoan House provides 24-hour staff support services, 365 days a year, supporting tenants to develop skills and get involved in day-to-day decision making.
Qualifications and Experience
- QCF/NVQ 2 Health and Social Care or equivalent
- 6 months experience in a formal care/support role* and previous experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities/mental health issues
- Must be currently registered with NISCC or, if new to the sector, must achieve registration within 6 months
- 2 yearsโ experience in a formal care/support role* and previous experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities/mental health issues
- Must be currently registered with NISCC or, if new to the sector, must achieve registration within 6 months
- Must be willing to work towards the completion of relevant qualification
- *Formal Care/Support may include caring at home, where the carer is in receipt of Carersโ Allowance. Formal Care/Support may also include voluntary work in a formal setting.
