Mullagh Houses is a supported living accommodation giving care and support for 16 adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities. It is situated centrally within Limavady. Mullagh Houses provides 24‑hour staff support services, 365 days a year, supporting tenants to develop skills and get involved in day‑to‑day decision making.

Qualifications

  • QCF/NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • 6 months experience in a formal care/support role* and previous experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities or mental health issues; OR
  • 2 years experience in a formal care/support role* and previous experience of working with individuals with Learning Disabilities or Mental Health issues.
  • Currently registered with NISCC, or if new to the sector must achieve registration within 6 months.
  • Must be willing to work towards the completion of relevant qualification.
  • *Formal Care/Support may include caring at home or voluntary work in a formal setting.
