Based at Stronge Court, Portadown, you will promote the independence, dignity, security, privacy, confidentiality, rights and wellbeing of our customers in independent living. You will also be responsible for supporting our tenants to lead the lives they choose as independently as possible, signposting and working closely with other agencies. This role has the most direct impact in our communities and on the lives of the people we support.

We will need you to be flexible in order to meet customers’ needs including occasional evening work. The role will require some reasonable travel to cover neighbouring schemes for holiday cover, so you should be able to travel to meet the requirements of the post without relying on public transport and apply a flexible, smart approach to delivery that will demonstrate that things can be done sustainably and be able to respond to out-of-hours emergencies when required.

You will have a good understanding of what great customer experience looks like. Experience of working with people with a range of different support needs, completing support plans and a good understanding of housing related support would be extremely useful in the role but we can provide training on these areas. This isn’t a hands-on caring role – strong administration skills, digitally connected with previous experience of working with computer packages is essential to your success in the role. Building and maintaining respectful relationships is key.

If you have the right skills, enthusiasm, and attitude to lead on the subject matter and the team, we would love to hear from you!
