Foyle Valley House is a female hostel accommodation giving support and care for up to 14 homeless women who have an alcohol dependency. It is situated close to the city centre of Derry~Londonderry. Foyle Valley House provides a comfortable and safe home with 24-hour staff support services, 365 days a year.

Requirements:

  • Educated to Degree Level and registered or willing to register with NISCC and 4 years work experience working with individuals with addiction issues, including 2 years previous management experience (staff management, financial management, and administration).
  • OR Level 5 Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care and registered or willing to register with NISCC and a minimum of 5 years experience working with individuals with addiction issues, including 2 years previous management experience (staff management, financial management, and administration).
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working with individuals with addiction problems.
  • 2 years supervision experience including administration and staff supervision.
  • Experience of managing staff.
  • Knowledge of Supporting People requirements.

It is a genuine occupational qualification for the above position that the holder be female within the meaning of Article 10 of the sex discrimination Northern Ireland Order 1976.
