Radius Housing is proud to announce the launch of Radius Direct Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary established to enhance and supplement our current property maintenance operations. Radius Direct has been created to support the delivery of essential services including servicing, planned maintenance, minor works, and repairs.

The Painter is responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating services within residential properties managed by the housing organisation. This includes the preparation and painting of internal and external surfaces during void turnarounds, responsive maintenance, and planned refurbishment programmes. The role supports the organisation’s commitment to safe, well-maintained, and presentable homes for residents.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a painter in social housing or similar environments.
  • Strong understanding of different paint systems, finishes, and preparation techniques.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple sites or as part of a maintenance team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work.
  • Respectful and professional when working in occupied homes or sensitive settings.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety legislation and COSHH.
  • Current Full UK driving licence (if mobile role).
