A bit about the role: At Clanmil, our tenants and residents are at the heart of what we do, and we want to provide more great homes for families that need them. There is a real opportunity for the right people to provide a range of care and support services to our residents, including assisting with the preparation and serving of meals and general housekeeping tasks.

A bit about you: If you understand the importance of promoting independence, choice and dignity and are passionate and motivated to make a difference to people’s lives, this could be the job for you. You will have previous experience of caring for the elderly and be able to verbally communicate in the English language with the client group. Literacy skills, working as part of a team and the ability to show empathy, compassion and a genuine caring nature are essential. An NVQ level 2 in a relevant subject, such as care, would be advantageous, as would experience of working with people with dementia. You will be registered with the NI Social Care Council (NISCC) or be prepared to register at the time of offer, to carry out this role.

Total Reward Package:

  • £13.45 per hour (plus extra night shift rate)
  • 20 days annual leave pro rata per annum
  • Pension contribution of up to 14.5%
  • Westfield Health Contribution paid by Clanmil
  • An extra paid day off for your birthday and another life event
